Personal Background

I was born in Southern California, raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and received my undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, majoring in history and political science. After earning my bachelors degree, I provided support to the highest levels of national security and counter terrorism policymakers as a staff member in the National Security Council at the White House in Washington, D.C. The experience was incredibly demanding and fast-paced, but it was very rewarding to have the opportunity to serve our federal government.
Eventually, my wife and I could no longer resist the call of the friendly people, natural beauty, and endless adventures of the Pacific Northwest. I pursued a law degree at the University of Oregon with a focus on business law coursework. During my final year of law school, I served as a member of the Small Business Clinic. I loved meeting with clients, learning about their businesses, and helping to develop solutions to improve their viability and increase their chances for success. I had found my legal calling. Since then my practice has evolved to focus on estate planning and administration of trusts and estates following the loss of a loved one. Our team takes great pride in supporting the families that we are so lucky to call clients.
My wife, children, our dogs, and I are very proud to call Lane County home. We love cheering on the Ducks and searching for the next breathtaking hike or perfect campsite (when we don't have a tennis match, baseball game, or soccer game to attend).
