Personal Background

I was born and raised in Southern California before relocating to Oregon's Willamette Valley, where I have built both my professional career and family life. I attended Sheldon High School before earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon. I later received my Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law.

Outside of my legal practice, I embrace the Pacific Northwest lifestyle and enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. When winter arrives, I look forward to getting into the mountains to snowboard, appreciating both the challenge and the chance to unplug in the fresh alpine air. In the warmer months, I enjoy camping trips, exploring regional hiking trails, and paddle boarding on local lakes and rivers. Golf is another favorite pastime, offering a chance to relax, connect with friends, and enjoy Oregon's scenic courses.

I also have a strong sense of curiosity and enjoy traveling and experiencing new places, whether that means exploring a new city, discovering local food, or learning about different cultures and perspectives. I value opportunities to step away from routine, gain new experiences, and bring that broader perspective back to both my personal and professional life.

Above all, I treasure time with my two young sons. Whether we are exploring the outdoors together, attending community events, or simply enjoying a quiet weekend, I value being a present and engaged father and creating lasting memories with my family.

Professional Background

I focus my practice on business and real estate transactions, where I provide practical, solution-oriented counsel to individuals, entrepreneurs, and companies at all stages of growth. I advise clients on entity formation and governance, purchase and sale transactions, contract negotiation, and a wide range of operational issues, with an emphasis on clear communication and efficient execution.

In my real estate practice, I represent buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners in acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, and development matters. I am experienced in structuring and documenting complex transactions and work closely with clients to anticipate risks, resolve issues, and move deals forward smoothly.

I also assist individuals and families with estate planning and estate administrations. I help clients develop thoughtful estate plans tailored to their goals and guides personal representatives and trustees through the administration process with clarity and care during what can often be a difficult time.
